The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Here is one of our all time favorite movie themes. Great movie, fantastic music. We love spaghetti westerns, saw plenty of them while DH was in the Navy and we were stationed in Spain.

This first music video is from the movie when it came out in 1966. Sure takes us back.

This next one is fun.

These next two are of Ennio Morricone conducting two different orchestras.

Hope you enjoyed, we sure did and still do.

Canadian Sunset

The following tune is one of my earliest memories of music that stirred me. I was in the backseat of my parents car and we were traveling somewhere when this song came on. There were no words only the music.

Flying

This is a favorite from when DH and I were dating. This was not a Beatle's tune that was aired all that much.

I wanted to use this piece as my first music selection, as music does cause us to transcend. Transcend = to rise above.

Music transcends

How does one put the spiritual significance of music on paper?

Music transcends all languages and barriers and

is the most beautiful communicative skill one can have.

Music makes us all experience different emotions.

Different types of music,

whether it is vocal or instrumental,

Eastern or Western,

Classical or Pop or folk

from any part of the world

can all be spiritual if it has the power

to stir the soul of a person

and transcend time for the moment.
